Peanut Machine Suppliers and Manufacturers

How to solve the problem of excess temperature of peanut oil press?

Peanut oil press is a highly efficient machine used for extracting oil from various crops such as soybean, rapeseed, sunflower seed, cottonseed, and of course, peanuts. However, during its operation, the peanut oil press is prone to overheating, which can result in severe damage to the equipment and affect its lifespan. It is crucial to determine whether the peanut oil press is experiencing excess temperature or exceeding prescribed limits to avoid these issues.

Here are some methods to check and address the problem of excess temperature in peanut oil press.

1, Check the lubrication points of all parts of the peanut oil press and ensure that the lubricating oil used is consistent with the factory specifications of the equipment. Proper lubrication is essential in preventing overheating and prolonging the machine’s lifespan.

2, Check whether the lubricating oil or grease of the peanut oil press has gone bad. The use of old or contaminated lubricants can cause the machine to overheat.

3, Check whether the lubricating pipeline of the peanut oil press is blocked or if there is insufficient lubricating oil in the lubrication points. Insufficient oil can cause overheating.

4, Check if the side clearance of the bearing in the peanut oil press is too small, resulting in too much contact between the shaft and bearing. This condition prevents the formation of a uniform oil film in the bearing.

5, Check if there is too much or too little grease in the rolling bearing of the peanut oil press. Excessive grease can cause heat generation due to stirring of the rolling body, while insufficient grease can cause poor lubrication and overheating. The operator should add enough oil as per provisions, generally 1/3 to 1/2 of the bearing clearance.

6, Check if the sealing device of the hollow shaft on both ends of grinding body of peanut oil press is too tight or if iron contacts directly with the shaft. If this is the case, it can cause friction and overheating.

If any of these issues arise, it is essential to address them promptly. For instance, if there is too little side clearance or too much contact angle at the bottom, the operator should jack up the mill body with a hydraulic jack and remove the bearing bush from one side of the shaft and further scrape bush mouth.

Proper maintenance and regular checks are essential in preventing overheating and prolonging the lifespan of peanut oil press. By following these methods, operators can improve the oil yield and working efficiency of their peanut oil press while avoiding costly repairs due to overheating.
