1. The grain mill should be placed on the horizontal, fixed and solid desktop or table, solid wood is better.
2. Start the power supply and run for one minute or so. Feed the material into the hopper and adjust the regulator to the proper position and open the feeding baffle to make the material flows slowly into the grinding chamber. Open the baffle a little bit small so as not to feed too fast, resulting in machine blocking. Common material should be ground twice, coarse grinding for the first time and fine grinding for the second time.

3. The milling thickness depends on the clearance between the two abrasive discs of grinding, which is controlled by the regulator. According to the thickness instructions on the cover, when the regulator is turned to the direction of fine adjustment, the clearance between the two abrasive discs narrows and the flour is fine, vice versa.

4. The adjusting range and intensity of the regulator can be decided through the ears to hear the friction sound of abrasive disc and the running voice of the motor. When the discs are closer, the voice is louder and even sharper. Conversely, if the discs are not closer or separated, the voice is soft.

5. When grinding materials with particularly high oil content alone, such as sesame seed, walnut and peanut, since its oil content is extremely high that the material can only be ground into coarse powder, otherwise plenty of oil would be produced to make the powder into pulp. Therefore, when grinding the material with particularly high oil content, the regulator should not be too tight and the disc should be a little close or even complete separated that the material can be ground into coarse powder (small granular material). If the material above need to be ground finely, it need to be mixed with materials of no oil or low oil content. The proportion of high oil content and (no) low oil content materials is 1:4 to 1: 5, and grind twice with coarse grinding for the first time and fine grinding for the second time.

6. Assemble and disassemble of rotating disc and stationary disc: the disc installed on the millstone is the rotating disc and the disc installed in the crushing chamber is the stationary disc. The disc can be demount by removing the three screws fixing the disc. The disc is made of cast iron with high hardness of about 52°C and poor flexibility. When installing the disc, the screw can not be screwed too tight to avoid the fracture of disc.
